Designing AI-driven content repurposing for SummarAIze, the interface and flows for an AI platform that turns audio and video into summaries, quotes, and social posts people can actually act on. A repeat client across multiple projects.

SummarAIze is an AI platform that transforms audio and video into engaging, shareable formats, summaries, quotes, and social media posts. The design problem with any AI output is trust: a summary is only useful if the reader believes it captured the right things. I designed the interface and the core flows to keep the source and the output legible side by side, so the AI feels like a tool the user controls rather than a black box they have to take on faith. Working as a freelance product designer across several projects, I crafted each feature below to enhance the experience, streamline the workflow, and bring SummarAIze's vision of intelligent content repurposing to life.

Streamlining AI responses. The response screen is where the product proves itself, so I redesigned it for readability and control: AI output in an organized layout, the source media right alongside it, a table of contents for long results, and clearer action buttons for sharing and reuse. Getting this screen right was the priority, it's the one the team called their most important.

The template marketplace. Repurposing is only effortless if there's a starting point. I designed a curated library of templates with customizable layouts for different content formats and platforms, so users pick a shape and let the AI fill it, instead of formatting from scratch. The marketplace, with categories and an empty state, makes a large catalog feel browsable rather than overwhelming.

A pricing page that simplifies the choice. The pricing page communicates subscription tiers, feature comparisons, and benefits cleanly, with a usage slider for the pay-as-you-go option, so users can make an informed decision without parsing a dense table. Clarity here is conversion.

The chatbot. I designed a dedicated page for the SummarAIze chatbot, an intuitive home for accessing AI features through conversation, with prompt suggestions to get users moving and managed conversations to keep work organized. Voice-to-text lets users talk to it; the interface keeps that power approachable.

A revamped navbar. Navigation is the spine of a product this feature-rich, so I modernized it: clearer access to key areas, a collapsible rail for focus, and a layout that adapts cleanly across screen sizes for a consistent experience.

Personalising outputs with examples. Generic AI output is the enemy of trust. I designed an Examples feature that lets users attach reference samples to a template, so the AI generates highly tailored, context-rich responses that match the user's own voice and structure. It's the difference between a draft you discard and one you ship.

Snippets for content reuse. With Snippets, users drop pre-existing content, intros, sponsorships, CTAs, straight into an AI response, streamlining the workflow and keeping outputs consistent. Small feature, large effect on how fast a creator can move.

An enhanced upload flow. Better input means better output, so I rebuilt upload to capture richer context up front: speaker names, custom vocabulary, a template pack, and custom instructions, across a clear two-step flow on mobile. The precision of every downstream response starts here.

The response index. Finally, a tabular index presents every generated response in one organized place, searchable and filterable by type and creator, with an asset detail that lets users edit, regenerate, or change the voice of any output. It turns a pile of generations into a reusable content library.
