Building Freo's website: a modern, interactive marketing site for India's leading digital banking platform, designed and built in Framer in a single week, with scroll-driven interactions that bring Freo Pay, Save, and Credit to life.

Freo is India's leading digital banking platform, a digital-only bank serving over 2 million users across 1200+ cities with flexible products like Freo Pay, Freo Save, and Freo Credit. As a Series A company with no physical branches, the website is the storefront, and it needed to feel as modern as the product. The brief was specific and tight: build a modern, interactive site in Framer, with scroll interactions that visually represent the core offerings, delivered within one week.

Why Framer, and the one-week constraint. The deadline shaped every decision. I built in Framer because it lets a polished design ship fast without trading away interactivity, and its native components and scroll tools meant I could spend the week on the interactions that mattered rather than on plumbing. The whole engagement, design inspection to live site, ran on a single week, kept on track with Loom for video walkthroughs and WhatsApp for quick feedback.

From Figma to a clean Framer build. I started by inspecting the design file in Figma and rebuilding it with proper auto-layout, so the structure exported cleanly into Framer. Getting the layout system right early is what made the rest, components, animations, responsiveness, fast to assemble instead of fragile.

Scroll interactions that show the product. The signature of the site is its motion: dynamic, scroll-based interactions that change as you move through the page, each section bringing Pay, Save, and Borrow to life visually instead of just describing them. Figuring out the more complex scroll behaviors in Framer was the main challenge, and the most rewarding part, using triggers, presets, and native components like Ticker to make the page feel alive without a single roadblock.

Built to perform, on every screen. Beyond the interactions, I made reusable components for consistency, ensured the site works perfectly across desktop and mobile, and implemented SEO and performance improvements so the experience stays seamless. Smooth transitions between sections tie the whole thing together.

The outcome. Freo's new website went live within one week, on time, with a modern design and the standout scroll interactions the brand wanted, improving engagement through interaction that matches a leading fintech's bar. The project is a clear demonstration of using Framer to deliver a genuinely complex, dynamic site under a tight deadline, without cutting the corners that matter.
